Steadfast to its commitment as “The Engine of Cebu’s Business Growth towards Global Competitiveness,” the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) is pleased to announce its quarterly General Membership Meeting (GMM) schedule on August 27, 2024 at the Grand Ballroom, bai Hotel, Cebu. This gathering will encompass the launching of the “Invest Cebu” brand, CCCI APP & Privilege card as well as the Chamber Time is Cebu on Time, recognition of 5- and 10-year member companies as well the induction of 20 new members in the CCCI Family.
Interestingly, homegrown business leader and icon Jose Soberano III, Chairman and CEO of Cebu Land masters, Inc., will share his insights and perspectives as the GMM Guest of Honor on how real estate and development transformed Cebu’s business landscape which reinvigorated ventures in trade and commerce, ICT-BPM and creative entertainment, and construction.
With the unwavering support from BAI HOTEL, TOPLINE HI-TECH SUNERGY CORP., and IT GROUP, INC. as GMM Presenters as well QUALFON and FIRST CIRCLE as GMM Partners, the event is expected to gather over 300 representatives from various sectors and industries, partners in the government, consular corps, and media.
Aside from welcoming 20 new members in the family, the newly created CCCI-Bogo City Chapter will be formally presented and welcomed as another initiative of mobilizing the business community in the countryside as voice of business.
A Covenant Signing for the Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (ESAP) with the Cebu City LGU, CCCI, Hotel Resort & Restaurant Association of Cebu Inc. (HRRACI), Philippine Retailers Association Cebu Chapter (PRA-Cebu), and the Chinese-Filipino Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CFCCI) will also take place.
The GMM presents an invaluable occasion for members to engage with one another, stay conversant with current industry trends, and actively participate in the movement as the voice and engine of Cebu’s business growth.
