Cebu Football Club Visits Governor Pamela for Courtesy Call

Cebu Football Club (CFC), the reigning champions of the Philippines Football League (PFL) Champions Series, made a formal courtesy call on Cebu Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro at the Provincial Capitol on November 19, 2025.

The visit, which included key members of the CFC management team and a selection of prominent players, served as a powerful gesture of unity and local support as the team prepares to represent Cebu province in the upcoming international ASEAN Club Championship, the Shopee Cup 2025.

The delegation included players and key members of the CFC management team, led by Mr. Ugur Tasci, Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Herb Sports Inc. The purpose of the visit was to brief the Provincial Chief Executive on the team's preparations and to express their commitment to bringing pride to Cebu on the football stage.

Governor Pam warmly welcomed the delegation and extended her sincere congratulations on their achievements. She underscored the significance of their participation in the Shopee Cup and expressed her delight at their visit.

Cebu FC is set to continue its campaign in the prestigious tournament with a highly anticipated fixture against Malaysian club, Selangor FC on December 3, 2025, at the Rizal Memorial Stadium. Subsequent matches will see them travel to Thailand to face BG Pathum on January 28, 2026 and Buriram United on February 4, 2026.

The CFC Management Team also discussed the upcoming projects of CFC Academy whose primary goal is to help young players reach their full football potential. The academy is dedicated to building a legacy where football intertwines with character development and community pride. Discussions were initiated on how the Provincial Government can be actively involved in promoting football and grassroots development across the entire province of Cebu.
