Cebu MICE Alliance Launches Guidebook at ASEAN Tourism Forum

The Cebu MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) Alliance officially launches the Cebu MICE Guidebook during the ASEAN Tourism Forum’s Travel Exchange at the Mactan Expo today, January 28, 2026.

The unveiling followed the forum’s opening ceremonies and was attended by Department of Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco, Cebu MICE Alliance President Cleofe Albiso, Tourism Promotions Board Chief Operating Officer Margarita Nograles, and Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry Board of Trustee Regan King.

The Cebu MICE Guidebook is a 200-page resource that highlights the island’s rich heritage, gastronomy, and diverse offerings. It serves as an essential reference for positioning Cebu as both a business and leisure hub, featuring comprehensive information on food, accommodations, venues, festivals, suppliers, and performers.

The launch underscores Cebu’s growing reputation as a destination where international connectivity meets a unique “business-meets-leisure” appeal. By raising global standards and catering to the evolving needs of tourists and investors, Cebu is poised not only to strengthen its tourism industry but also to secure investments and generate jobs for the local community.

This milestone coincides with Cebu’s hosting of the ASEAN Tourism Forum’s Travel Exchange at the Mactan Expo, with Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown serving as partner hotel. The event reinforces Cebu’s role as a dynamic hub for tourism and business events in Southeast Asia.
