Who will be this year's luckiest man to wear the coveted crown and follow the footsteps of reigning Ginoong Pilipinas Erik Lennart Visser who recently won in the international search for Mister Universe Tourism held in Bali, Indonesia?
Erik won the national search in Manila way back 2019 and was supposed to compete in 2020. Hindered by the pandemic for almost three years, Erik spent most of his time training with his talent management led by stylographer Dexter Z. Alazas of Admire Models Philippines while juggling modeling stints and hosting gigs in Cebu, Manila and other key cities in Visayas and Mindanao.
This year, Borgen Entertainment Ventures, the owner of this prestigious male pageant decided to bring the national search to Cebu this May 2023, particularly since it's the Heritage month.
The grand winner will bring home a total prize package of 100, 000.00 pesos worth, and the chance to compete in the 2024 Mr. Universe Tourism in Bali, Indonesia.
Preliminary competitions include the Barong Filipino presentation at Casa Gorordo Museum highlighting the Gabii Sa Kabilin on May 12th, and the Swimwear show in Dakak Park and Beach Resort in Dapitan City on May 14th.
The 10-Day event in Cebu kicks off on May 10 and culminates on May 20, 2023, for the Coronation Night.
