GOV. PAM BARICUATRO VISITS NORTH BUS TERMINAL TO ENSURE SAFE AND ORDERLY TRAVEL FOR UNDAS

Cebu Governor Pamela “Pam” Baricuatro personally visited the North Bus Terminal on October 31, 2025, to monitor the situation of passengers traveling to their hometowns for the Undas holiday. The visit was part of the Provincial Government's commitment to ensuring safe, orderly, and comfortable travel for all Cebuano commuters during this annual migration.

Governor Baricuatro spoke directly with passengers and terminal staff, personally checking that everyone was well-assisted and secure amidst the heavy volume of travelers.

"The Governor’s primary concern is the safety and convenience of the people of Cebu," a representative stated. "It is crucial for her to be on the ground to personally oversee the operations and ensure all necessary measures are in place for a smooth journey home."

Bus Terminal Operations Administrator Jason Maceren assured the Governor that the terminal is fully prepared and organized to manage the expected influx of travelers efficiently.

To maintain peace and order and ensure regulatory compliance, integrated teams from the CPPO (Cebu Provincial Police Office), PNP (Philippine National Police), LTO (Land Transportation Office), LTFRB (Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board), and the PDRRMO (Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office) were deployed on-site.

Additionally, prioritizing public welfare, the Capitol Piso Consultant on Health, Dr. Nikki Catalan, and her team were present to provide free health services to passengers waiting for their trips, promoting well-being before they embarked on their journey.

Concluding the visit, the Governor's office released a statement: "Ang Gobernador kalipay nga makita nga ang atong mga kaigsoonan luwas ug komportable sa ilang pagpauli. Padayon ta sa pag-alagad ug pag-atiman sa katawhan sa Sugbo."
