Gov. Pam Turns Over ₱24 Million in Cash and Rice Aid for Typhoon Tino Victims

Governor Pamela S. Baricuatro officially turned over a significant aid package totaling ₱24 million to support ongoing relief and recovery efforts for communities devastated by Typhoon Tino.


The assistance aims to immediately help the 10 towns heavily affected by the widespread flooding caused by the typhoon.


Cash and Rice Aid Breakdown


Governor Baricuatro announced the distribution of ₱2 million in cash assistance to bolster the immediate relief and recovery operations in the ten hardest-hit municipalities.


In addition to the direct cash aid, the Governor also facilitated the turnover of ₱22 million worth of rice assistance through the Provincial Board. This allocation is earmarked for prompt distribution to affected families across their respective districts:

* ₱1 million was allocated per Board Member.

* ₱2 million was allocated for the Office of the Vice Governor.


Commitment to Quick and Comprehensive Relief


Governor Pam reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to ensuring that help reaches every resident of the province in need.


"Relief must not only come fast, but reach everyone who needs it most," she stated, emphasizing the priority of comprehensive and rapid aid delivery to those most vulnerable in the aftermath of the disaster.

The turnover underscores the Provincial Government's swift action in mobilizing resources to help families and communities rebuild and recover from the damage wrought by Typhoon Tino.
