Hop into new beginnings and celebrate Easter at SM Supermalls

This Easter Sunday, SM Supermalls in Cebu invite families and friends to gather and celebrate a season of renewal, reflection, and joyful togetherness through a series of thoughtfully curated events across its premier destinations. On April 20, 2025, the day begins with solemn Easter Masses held at SM City Cebu’s North Wing Hallway and the Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod at SM Seaside City Complex, both commencing at 9 AM, inviting all to begin the day in reverence and gratitude.

As the morning gives way to a delightful afternoon, SM City Cebu transforms into a wonderland of excitement with its highly anticipated Easter Egg Hunt and Mascots Party taking place at 1 PM at the Event Center. Parents can register their kids aged 3-12 for the Easter Egg Hunt by scanning the QR code (available on-site and via the mall’s official Facebook page). To qualify, a minimum single or accumulated purchase of Php 1,000 made between April 6–20, 2025 at the same mall is required. Complete the registration by filling out the online form and uploading a clear photo of the receipt. On the day of the event, don’t forget to bring your child’s original birth certificate for age verification and a copy of your event pass.

The celebration continues at 2 PM with the Easter Costume Contest and Parade, showcasing the creativity and charm of children dressed in their most whimsical Easter attire. The contest features two categories: Solo and Squad (up to 5 members). Registration runs from April 6 to 20. To join, simply scan the QR code on the event poster and upload your receipt reflecting a minimum purchase of ₱1,000 made at the participating mall within the promo period. Participants may also register on-site by submitting a completed form and receipts. Deadline for all registrations is 12:00 NN on April 20. Contestants must arrive at least 10 minutes before the start, in full costume, with a valid ID, uploaded receipt, email confirmation, and original birth certificate. Costumes must be family-friendly, non-obstructive, and non-offensive.

Meanwhile, SM City Consolacion hosts its own colorful Easter Costume Contest and Parade at 2 PM at its Event Center, bringing joy to families in northern Cebu. The event follows the same mechanics as SM City Cebu’s contest, so parents can easily register their kids by checking the QR code available on SM City Consolacion’s official Facebook page for full details and registration access.

At SM Seaside City Cebu, families are in for a full day of magical encounters and interactive fun. Following the morning Mass, the Mountain Wing Atrium becomes the heart of the Easter celebration with “Easter Adventures”, where children can indulge in themed activities and immersive experiences. The Easter Costume Contest and Parade begins at 1:30 PM, followed by enchanting Easter Bunnies Meet & Greets at 2 PM, 4 PM, and 6 PM—perfect for capturing sweet family memories.

Not to be missed, SM J Mall offers a more contemplative yet equally enriching celebration. From April 14 through April 30, guests may visit “Visual Devotions: A Lenten Exhibit” at The Atrium, a moving tribute to the spiritual essence of the season. On Easter Sunday itself, children can enjoy a creative Kiddie Coloring Activity at 3:30 PM at the Izakaya Terrace, followed by a cheerful Easter Bunnies Meet & Greet at 4 PM.
