Veteran real property developer Johndorf Ventures Corporation (JVC) recently handed over to its homeowners’ association the management of Tierra Nava Subdivision in Carcar City, in recognition of the organization’s self-management ability and in compliance with the Republic Act No. 9904, an Act Providing for A Magna Carta for Homeowners and Homeowners Associations, and for Other Purposes.
A Memorandum of Agreement signifying the turnover of the property was signed last month between JVC Construction Management Head, Raymond Wilson Lim, and the Tierra Nava Subdivision Homeowners Association Inc. (TNSHAI) Directors led by its Association President, Ritch Neil de la Victoria.
With the hand-over, TNSHAI assumes full management of the subdivision, particularly its common areas & facilities, and open spaces.
JVC Managing Director Abegail Lim expressed confidence in the capacity of TNSHAI to maintain subdivision facilities as she also conveyed gratitude for the trust which homeowners had given JVC.
“The relationships we have built over the years between us developers and our homeowners are that of goodwill, demonstrating our commitment in continuously learning from one other in the spirit of partnership towards our common benefit,” Lim says.
Tierra Nava is one of southern Cebu’s most prominent housing initiatives. It is among the first JVC projects to be completed in the province and set the standard for quality affordable townhomes. The 5.4-hectare property hosts 653 units in total, all of which have been sold.
Each unit was turned over as a two-storey residence at bare handover condition with kitchen and bathroom fixtures, wood stair finishing with railing, and a carport.
The community is a gated property with security system, reliable water supply, underground drainage, sewage treatment facility, and a multi-purpose area with a clubhouse and basketball court.
JVC has launched 14 other projects in Cebu after the success of Tierra Nava. The JVC brands include economic residential developments, pocket communities, and a mid-rise mixed-use village.
JVC counts 36 years of experience in property development with innovative projects in the Visayas and Mindanao. Over the years, the company has steadily progressed into leadership in providing better living for Filipinos through affordable, quality homes and livable communities.
