Lite Shipping Corporation to Host the 461st Fiesta Señor Fluvial Procession

Lite Shipping Corporation is honored to announce that it is one of the official hosts of the 461st Fiesta Señor Fluvial Procession, a major highlight of the Sinulog festivities celebrating the devotion to Señor Santo Niño. The company will be deploying two vessels for this historic event.

Serving as the Official Galleon for this year's fluvial procession is Lite Ferry Ten, the company's brand-new, world-class vessel. To mark this prestigious occasion, Lite Ferry commissioned the expertise and distinguished portfolio of Ms. Marylou Ngo Ang to design and build the Sinulog Galleon 2025. Lite Ferry Ten carries an international accreditation from RINA of Italy and was inaugurated last year in Tagbilaran City. The vessel currently services key routes, including Cebu City–Tagbilaran City, Bohol, and Larena, Siquijor–Plaridel, Misamis Occidental.

Lite Ferry Ten will be escorted by Lite Cat 2, another internationally accredited vessel certified by Lloyd's Class of London in 2023. This escort vessel operates on the Cebu City–Tubigon, Bohol route and will carry the revered image of Señor Santo Niño de Soledad of Bohol, the patron saint of Lite Shipping Corporation’s very first vessel.

This year's participation holds deep historical and spiritual significance for the company. Thirty-four (34) years ago, Lite Shipping Corporation's first ship was named Sto. Niño de Soledad, symbolizing the company's faith, dedication, and enduring devotion to the Holy Child. To once again carry the image of Señor Santo Niño during the Sinulog festivities is both an honor and a heartfelt tribute to the company's humble beginnings and lasting commitment.
