Manila Bulletin Sketchfest 2025 Bursts into a Canvas of Creativity at SM Seaside City Cebu with the Theme “How Life is Better”

The Mountain Wing Atrium of SM Seaside City Cebu is alive with color and imagination today, June 28, 2025 as the Manila Bulletin Sketchfest 2025 unfolds with this year’s inspiring theme, “How Life is Better.”

This much-anticipated live on-the-spot drawing competition continues to be a space where artists of all ages and backgrounds can freely express their ideas and capture life’s moments through their own artistic lens. This year’s theme invites participants to sketch what makes life brighter — whether it’s everyday joys, hopeful dreams, meaningful connections, or the beauty that surrounds us all.

As of 11:00 AM, the event has already welcomed 252 registered artists, each now busy bringing their visions to life.

Aspiring artists can still join in! Registration is free and open for walk-in participants until 12 NN today. There are three categories to join: Kiddie (12 and below), Junior (13–18), and Senior (19 and above), giving everyone a chance to pick up their pencils and let their creativity shine.

All finished artworks must be submitted by 3 PM today. Exciting prizes await the most outstanding entries, with up to ₱100,000 worth of prizes up for grabs for the best pieces in each category.
