The Mezzo Hotel and barangay Mabolo recently inked a partnership to provide series of life skills training for its constituents starting June 2022.
The yearlong sustainable program will promote active citizenship, create community value, and enhances the community and the environment.
“This is our way of giving back to the community by providing trainings to barangay Mabolo constituents where our hotel is situated and with the hope of future employment not only in our hotel but as well in other hospitality establishment,” said Mezzo Hotel President Shannen Keisha L. Tan.
The Memorandum of Agreement signing was attended by Tan, Hotel Manager Christine Bernardo, Barangay Captain Frank M. Gajudo of Barangay Mabolo, Barangay councilor Jackson Tudtud and Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson Marian Lay C. Andales.
The life skills training program includes technical skills, Job Advancement and Introduction about Entrepreneurship.
“For those interested to join, they can go to barangay Mabolo Office and sign up. It’s going to be a first come, first serve basis,” said Bernardo.
According to Andales, this is the first time that a company from the hospitality industry reached out to them to offer these trainings, which would be a big help to their constituents.
