NU Cebu Kicks Off Academic Year 2025-2026 with Grand Paghimamat Welcome

National University Cebu (NU Cebu) proudly opens its doors to students for the very first day of Academic Year 2025–2026 on July 21, 2025, marking a new chapter of academic excellence and growth in the Queen City of the South.

To officially welcome the new Bulldogs, NU Cebu held its much-anticipated “Paghimamat 2025,” the university’s opening ceremony, at SM City Cebu’s North Wing Atrium. Over 1,400 students, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate the start of an exciting academic year.

Students can look forward to modern facilities, industry-relevant programs, and a vibrant campus life that encourages holistic development. NU Cebu’s dedicated faculty and staff are ready to guide and support students as they embark on a journey of learning, discovery, and success.

NU Cebu offers a range of degree programs including Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, and Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. Senior High School students may also choose from the ABM (Accountancy, Business, and Management), HUMSS (Humanities and Social Sciences), and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) strands.
