Over 300 Voices Unite at SM Seaside for World Choral Day 2025

More than 300 singers came together at SM Seaside City Cebu in celebration for World Choral Day 2025 at the Mountain Wing Atrium on December 14, 2025, featuring performances by some of Cebu’s most prominent choral groups.

World Choral Day is observed globally on or around the second Sunday of December and is an initiative of the International Federation for Choral Music, proposed and approved during its General Assembly in Helsinki, Finland in 1990. The annual celebration highlights the role of choral music in fostering peace, cultural exchange, and unity among communities worldwide.

At SM Seaside City Cebu, the celebration came to life through performances by Harmonic Youth of the Adventist Academy Cebu, Huni Habagat, Huni Mandawe, Jose R. Gullas Visayas Chorale, Koro Teknoy, Los Cantantes de Cebu, One Voice One Heart Choir, Rhythm and Music Choristers, UCCP Bradford Heralds Choir, and the University of Cebu Chorus.

The choral presentations resonated with voices that harmonized throughout the atrium, drawing mallgoers and guests into an afternoon of music that flowed between classical and contemporary arrangements. The event underscored SM Seaside City Cebu’s ongoing support for the local arts community and its commitment to nurturing cultural expression.
