Close to 400 runners are expected to participate in the Run For Everlasting Hope Children With Cancer set this coming March 12, 2023, at the Cebu City Sports Center.
Spearheaded by Sugbu Hermanos Eagles Club with major sponsors the Fastway Visa and Immigration Services, Mr. Taho, and Mr. Potato by Mhullier Group of Companies.
The running event serves as a Charity and Anniversary Fund Raising Event of Sugbu Hermanos Eagles Club.
According to Club President Philip Señora II that the proceeds will go to the beneficiary of Everlasting Hope Children with Cancer and their club's socio-civic activity for the eagle year 2023.
"The club has a soft spot for kids with illness, we understand how difficult it is to have a sick child and not have the financial capability for treatment," said Señora.
The race will feature a 1-kilometer walk, a 3K and 5K run. Cash prizes await the top 3 placers in the 5K run category. While all the finishers will receive a specially-designed finisher’s medal.
Registration fee is pegged at P500 for the 1K Walk, P550 for the 3K Run, and 600 for the 5K run inclusive of an Event Race T-shirt, Race Bib finisher medal, certificate, refreshments, and snack.
Registration and releasing site for race kits will be at the Cebu City Sports Center between 4 pm-7 pm.
Registration ends on Monday, March 6, 2023.
The event is also made possible by Everlasting Hope, IMTIAZ Auto Trading, Fitbar, ANB Enterprise, 91.5 Yes FM, One Elcar Mercantile Corporation, Nature Spring, Parkson Gen and Mdse.
