Threads of Hope opens at SM City Cebu on December 17, 2025, a compelling fashion exhibit that celebrates Cebuano creativity, resilience, and cultural pride. Led by distinguished Filipino designer Philipp Tampus, a Project Runway Philippines Season 1 First Runner-Up whose work has been showcased both locally and internationally, the exhibit presents fashion as a powerful medium for storytelling, where craftsmanship becomes a language of survival, renewal, and hope.
Through evocative, finely handcrafted pieces, the exhibit weaves together compelling narratives inspired by the challenges faced by Cebuanos, transforming lived experiences into expressions of strength, beauty, and perseverance. Each creation stands as a testament to local talent and the enduring spirit of a community that continues to rise and create with grace despite adversity.
Joining Tampus are featured designers Mara Dee, Ayka Lim, Cris Escobido, Yoko Sato Li, Jeanom Ursua, and Ia Coca, whose works enrich the exhibit’s collective narrative and showcase the diversity of contemporary Cebuano fashion.
Threads of Hope runs until February 2026 at SM City Cebu, located on the 2nd Level, North Wing, fronting Bigby’s and Herbs & Cellar.
