SM Seaside City Cebu Goes All-In on K-Pop: BTS Skating Party, HYBE Cine Fest, and SEVENTEEN Pop-Up

If there is one place proving that K-Pop is more than just music this July, it is SM Seaside City Cebu. The mall transforms the global K-Pop phenomenon into an immersive local experience, giving both dedicated fans and the K-Pop curious plenty of reasons to see what the excitement is all about.

It all started on July 9, 2025, with ARMY Day on Ice, a BTS-themed skating party held in celebration of the date that fans around the world mark every year to remember when BTS officially named their fandom “ARMY.” Fans laced up their skates and took to the rink at SM Seaside City Cebu, gliding to some of BTS’s biggest hits like Butter, Dynamite, and Run BTS. For a ticket price of ₱330, inclusive of a two-hour pass and skates, Cebuanos experienced their discography in an entirely new way, skating and singing along, surrounded by fellow ARMYs who turned an ordinary Wednesday into a dance party on ice.

The K-Pop wave continues as SM Cinema invites everyone to step inside the world of HYBE with the HYBE Cine Fest from July 10 to 13, 2025, an exclusive chance to catch iconic moments from the biggest names under HYBE on the big screen. The festival goes beyond concert replays, offering an inside look at world tours, behind-the-scenes stories, and fan sing-alongs that shape today’s global K-Pop scene. Fans can catch BTS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, &TEAM, BOYNEXTDOOR, TWS, ILLIT, KATSEYE, and more that brings the energy of a stadium right to the cinemas.

Adding to the excitement, SM Seaside City Cebu is also preparing to open the Artist-Made Collection by SEVENTEEN Pop-Up at the Lower Ground Level, Cube Wing, giving CARATs a chance to get their hands on exclusive, member-designed merchandise.
