This October, Governor Pamela “Pam” Baricuatro is leading the charge to remind every Cebuana that early detection saves lives. Under her leadership, the provincial government is teaming up with the ICanServe Foundation to bring life-saving information, screening opportunities, and support closer to women across the province.
In a heartfelt meeting with the ICanServe Foundation Cebu Link, led by Mary Anne Alcordo Solomon, Governor Baricuatro sat down with public health leaders and courageous breast cancer survivors to strengthen this life-changing partnership. The gathering became a moment of hope and unity — a reminder that no woman has to face breast cancer alone.

Governor Baricuatro also paid tribute to breast cancer warriors, including inspiring Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) who have faced the disease with extraordinary strength. “Their courage and resilience remind us that awareness, support, and compassion truly save lives,” she shared.

Together, the governor and the ICanServe community are shining a light on hope, healing, and the power of early detection — so that every woman in Cebu has the chance to live her life to the fullest.
