Cebu City, Philippines – May 05, 2025 — Childlink Learning Center and Childlink High School, Inc. proudly continues its legacy of shaping well-rounded, proactive learners prepared for future success. Founded in 1997 by Maria Theresa F. Tio, the school offers a dynamic curriculum that goes beyond academic excellence, integrating character formation and community-oriented values into every aspect of student development.

Below are some key insights into the school's philosophies, support systems, and holistic programs:

College Readiness & Enrichment Programs

Childlink Learning Center is deeply committed to ensuring that its students are well-prepared for the challenges of higher education. With a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, students in Grade 12 benefit from specialized enrichment programs designed to hone their academic strengths and address any gaps. These include remedial sessions for students needing additional support and personalized guidance for college applications. The school offers an integrated Values in Entrepreneurship Course that nurtures future business leaders, while also preparing students with the skills to thrive in university life.

Educational Philosophy & Core Values

At the heart of Childlink’s philosophy is the integration of values education alongside academic achievement. Childlink adheres to a values-based curriculum rooted in UNESCO and UNICEF’s Living Values Educational Program (LVEP), which emphasizes empathy, responsibility, and self-awareness. Students are taught to apply what they learn in school to their community interactions, fostering a deep connection to their social roles. The curriculum is not just about facts—it’s about building better citizens, equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.

Student Support Services & Mental Health

Childlink places great importance on mental health and emotional well-being. The school offers various support services, including counseling, peer support groups, and a mental wellness program designed to help students cope with academic stress, peer pressure, and life challenges. Teachers are trained to recognize signs of emotional distress, and the school collaborates with mental health professionals to ensure a supportive environment for all students.

Extracurricular Activities & Competitions

Childlink is proud to offer a diverse range of extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, and leadership clubs, for students at all grade levels. From musical performances and choral contests to athletic competitions and leadership programs, students have numerous opportunities to develop their talents and apply their learning in real-world contexts. Additionally, Childlink students regularly participate in outreach programs aimed at giving back to their community, including environmental and social advocacy initiatives.

State-of-the-Art Facilities

The school’s facilities are designed to enhance learning at every stage of education. Childlink’s campus includes dedicated science labs, a well-equipped library, and specialized spaces for art, music, and sports. The school also integrates modern technology labs, providing students with the tools needed to excel in today’s digital age. These facilities are built to cater to the unique needs of both younger learners and high school students.

Teacher Qualifications & Faculty Development

Childlink maintains a high standard for its teaching staff, ensuring that educators are not only qualified but also committed to continuous professional development. Teachers undergo regular training and workshops to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and innovations. The school fosters a collaborative teaching environment, where educators share best practices to improve the overall learning experience for students. The teachers are not just instructors—they are mentors and guides shaping the future leaders of tomorrow.

Admissions Process & Financial Assistance

The admissions process at Childlink is straightforward, with an emphasis on finding students who align with the school’s core values. Applications are open year-round, and prospective students can submit their forms either online or in person. The school also offers scholarships and financial assistance programs for deserving students, ensuring that high-quality education remains accessible to all families, regardless of their financial background.

Parent and Community Engagement

Childlink believes in the power of a strong partnership between parents and educators. Parents are actively involved in their children’s education through regular parent-teacher conferences, workshops, and community events. The school also promotes volunteer opportunities for parents to engage in extracurricular activities, school programs, and community service initiatives. The school’s ethos encourages a collaborative environment where everyone plays an active role in nurturing the students’ growth and success.
