Bluewater Maribago, Panglao and Sumilon invite families to dress up and make new Halloween memories together.

CEBU, Philippines — Costumes are coming out, treat bags are getting ready and a little Halloween mischief is making its way to Bluewater Resorts.

On October 25, 2026, Bluewater Maribago, Bluewater Panglao and Bluewater Sumilon will each welcome families for a day of trick-or-treating, costumes and fun activities. This year, guests can choose between two very different Halloween experiences, from a playful Minion-inspired celebration to a mysterious masquerade on an island.

A Despicably Spooky Day at Maribago and Panglao

Halloween gets a playful twist at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort and Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort with “Despicably Spooky: The Minions Go to Bluewater.”

The mischievous Minions are taking over for the day, setting the mood for a Halloween celebration made especially for families. Kids can come in their favorite costumes, bring their treat bags and make their way around the resorts for trick-or-treating and activities prepared throughout the day.

At Bluewater Maribago, little ones can get creative at the Coloring Corner, stop by the Popcorn and Cotton Candy Corner for classic treats, jump into the fun inflatables and join the fun during the DreamCatchers Main Performance and Zumba with the Kids.

Over in Bohol, Bluewater Panglao brings its own lineup of Halloween fun with a movie marathon and face painting, along with limited use of non-motorized watersports for guests who want to spend part of the celebration enjoying the water.

For parents, it is a chance to enjoy Halloween without overcomplicating the plans. Come in costume, bring the kids and spend the day making memories together.

At Bluewater Maribago, Halloween unfolds in a familiar seaside setting in Mactan, while Bluewater Panglao brings the celebration to its tropical sanctuary in Bohol. Both offer families plenty of space to play, explore and enjoy a little Minion mischief along the way.

Something Mystical Is Coming to Sumilon

Over at Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort, Halloween takes on a more mysterious mood with “Mystical Tides: An Island Masquerade Party.”

There is already something magical about taking a boat to an island. This Halloween, that feeling gets an imaginative twist as masks, costumes and a little mystery find their way to Sumilon.

Along with trick-or-treating, families can look forward to face painting, cupcake decorating and game stations throughout the celebration. Guests can also enjoy limited use of non-motorized watersports along with other island activities like snorkeling, hiking and paddle boarding, adding a little island adventure to the Halloween festivities.

As evening settles over the island, the celebration continues with a separate Halloween dinner buffet, giving families another reason to stay a little longer and enjoy the festivities together.

Guests are encouraged to dress for the occasion, put on their masks and see where the day’s festivities take them.

It is Halloween with an island escape built in, giving families a different way to celebrate the season together.

More Treats, More Play and More Time Together

Beyond the costumes and candies, Bluewater’s Halloween celebrations are really about giving families another reason to spend time together.

Parents get to watch their little ones excitedly go from one treat stop to the next. Kids get a whole day to dress up, create and play. Even the grown-ups have an excuse to join the fun.

May it be a despicably spooky day with the Minions in Maribago and Panglao or a mystical masquerade surrounded by the sea in Sumilon, October 25 is shaping up to be a Halloween worth dressing up for.
