From “Yes” to Forever: Journey to Ever After Brings Wedding Inspiration to Mactan

For couples who have said “yes” and are now figuring out everything that comes after, Journey to Ever After: In Bloom offers a weekend to gather ideas, meet the people behind the details, and enjoy a glimpse of what their wedding day could look like.

Now on its second year, the bridal fair returns to Mactan Newtown Beach Glass Pavilion on September 26 and 27, bringing together wedding professionals, creatives, and hospitality partners for two days of inspiration and planning.

Hosted by Savoy Hotel Mactan Newtown, Mercure Hotel Mactan Cebu, and Mactan Newtown Beach, the fair opens on September 26 with sessions focused on some of the most exciting parts of preparing for the big day.

Beauty experts Rhina Dapitan and Ruito Cuizon will share their Beauty Vows, while stylist Josei Cuizon will help brides navigate one of the most personal choices of all: finding the right bridal look.

Day two shifts into the finer details of the celebration, from food and long-term wedding investments to planning a meaningful celebration without losing the human touch. Guests can hear from Chef Paolo Aviso, The Mactan Newtown, and Joan Aviso-Lapus before the weekend comes to a fitting finale with a Bridal Fashion Show by the Fashion Institute of Design & Arts (FIDA) at the Ceremony Garden.

Throughout the two days, couples can also explore wedding suppliers and discover venues, services, and experiences that can help bring their plans together.

Set against Mactan’s coastal backdrop, “In Bloom” captures that beautiful in-between stage of wedding planning, when an idea begins to take shape and a future together starts to feel a little more real.

Because before the flowers are arranged, the dress is chosen, or the first dance begins, there is a journey to take.

Journey to Ever After: In Bloom runs on September 26 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and September 27 from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Mactan Newtown Beach Glass Pavilion.
