The dual launch establishes Toyota Cebu City as a key hub for Toyota Gazoo Racing’s e-motorsports ecosystem in the region, providing local sim racers access to professional racing simulators while introducing a dedicated venue to socialize over handcrafted coffee.

Connecting Virtual Racing to Real-World Motorsport

The TCB GR Simulator Racing Competition 2026 allows participants to test their driving skills in high-fidelity racing rigs running Gran Turismo 7. Top qualifiers from local dealership sessions will have the opportunity to advance through structured tournament tiers, following Toyota Motor Philippines' broader effort to nurture grassroots esports talent into real-world track drivers through the Toyota Gazoo Racing platform.

Simultaneously, the addition of OH Cafe inside the showroom offers an inviting environment for dealership visitors, giving guests a space to relax during vehicle maintenance or connect over shared automotive passions under the ethos "Great Rides Taste Better Together."

TCB GR Racing Simulator Ber Months Championship 2026 Mechanics

The championship is open exclusively to registered Toyota Cebu City customers. Mechanics for the multi-stage competition are outlined below:

1. Qualifying Period (September 1 – November 30, 2026)

🚩Monthly Windows: September 1–30 | October 1–31 | November 1–30

🚩Official Race Setup:

• Vehicle: Toyota GR86

• Track: Laguna Seca

• Format: 3 laps per attempt using standardized game modes and driving settings

🚩Leaderboard & Qualification: Participants must set the fastest valid lap time. Multiple attempts are allowed during qualifying periods subject to operating schedules. The Top 3 fastest racers each month advance to the Semi-Finals, totaling 9 semi-finalists.

2. Semi-Finals (December 11, 2026)

• All 9 monthly qualifiers will compete in seeded groups based on qualifying performance.

• The Top 3 racers directly advance as the leading Grand Finalists.

• The remaining 6 racers enter the Challenger Bracket.

3. Grand Finals (December 18, 2026)

• The 6 Challenger Bracket racers compete in the Challenger Round.

• The Challenger Round winner earns the right to face the leading finalist for the ultimate title.

• Placement races will determine the official 2nd and 3rd Place finishers on the final podium.

Event Guidelines & Participation

To ensure fair competition, only officially recorded and valid attempts adhering to designated simulator settings will count towards the championship leaderboard. Official decisions made by event organizers regarding race validity and recorded lap times shall be final.
